ABOUT US

The importance of the Kendi Center for Arabic Language Training came from the importance of the Arabic language because it is a global language approved by the United Nations and the African Union. It provides training services in the Arabic language to non-native speakers, targeting all segments of Ugandan society to serve them and serve the African continent and other communities in Uganda.

VISION

Our vision is to be a premier institution for Arabic language education, renowned for excellence in teaching, cultural enrichment, and global connectivity. We aspire to cultivate a vibrant community of language learners who are not only proficient in Arabic but also deeply connected to the rich tapestry of Arabic-speaking cultures.

MISSION

1. Our mission is to provide high-quality Arabic language education that is accessible, immersive, and engaging. We strive to empower our students with the linguistic skills and cultural insights necessary for effective communication and meaningful connections in the Arabic-speaking world and beyond.

  1. Teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers from the Ugandan community and others.
  2. Preparing and developing training methods in the Arabic language.
  3. Conducting linguistic and educational research to serve the center’s vision.
  4. Cooperating with similar institutions to develop curricula for teaching the Arabic language.

5. In-service training for non-native language teachers.
6. Preparing students linguistically to enroll in colleges specialized in teaching the Arabic language.

7. Cooperating with organizations, bodies, institutions and agencies whose interests include the Arabic language.
8. Assisting graduate students in the Arabic language at the master’s and doctoral levels in writing research papers.

  1. Linguistic preparation programs:- (three linguistic levels)
    (A) It targets students accepted into colleges specializing in the Arabic language inside and outside Uganda.
    (b) Those who wish to learn Arabic but are not students.
    #The duration of the program is three months for each level.

2. Children’s programme:- (three linguistic levels)
It targets children under the age of fifteen.

3. Arabic language program for special purposes:-
The program targets:-
Diplomats, Doctors, Merchants, Significant others

    Our Programs

    Each program at Kendi Arabic School provides a tailored learning experience to meet the diverse needs and preferences of students. Whether they prefer intensive weekend classes, daytime study sessions, or evening lessons, students can find a program that fits their schedule and learning style while immersing themselves in the rich language and culture of Arabic.

    The weekend program caters to individuals with busy weekday schedules who still want to learn Arabic. This program typically offers condensed classes on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing students to make significant progress in a short amount of time.
    The day program is designed for those who have more flexibility during weekdays or prefer daytime learning. Classes in this program are usually held on weekdays, providing students with the opportunity to dedicate several hours each day to Arabic language study.
    The evening program caters to working professionals, students, or individuals with daytime commitments who wish to learn Arabic after work or school. Classes in this program typically take place in the evenings, allowing students to balance their daytime responsibilities with evening study sessions.
